- Candidates must have passed Senior Secondary class with at least 50% marks and must have passed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed).
- Must have passed a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) Diploma or a 2-year Diploma in (Special Education).
- Must have passed Graduation and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) with at least 50% marks or 2 years NTT diploma from a recognized board\institute.
