About KTET 2024
KTET (Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test) is a state-level entrance examination that will be conducted in two papers. Paper-1 for classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 for classes 6 to 8. paper-3 for classes 9 to 12. The candidates who qualify for KTET 2023 is deserved to apply for Primary & Upper Primary Teacher Jobs in the state of Kerala. Only qualified candidates can get the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Certificate with lifetime validity.
Education Details for KTET 2024
Category 1 – Class 1-5 :
- 12th pass with a minimum of 45% marks
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education.
- 12th with at least 45% marks along with a qualifying 2-year diploma in elementary education
- 12th with at least 50% marks and a degree in 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
Category II – Class 6-8
- BA/ B.Sc./ B.Com. Graduation degree and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/ Trained Teachers.
- 12th or Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks along with appearing and qualifying for year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
- graduation in B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Com with a minimum of 45% marks and pass one year of Bachelor in Education.
- Higher Secondary with at least 50% marks and four-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed or B.Sc.Ed.
Paper/ Category III – Class 9-12
- BA/ BSc/ B.Com degree securing at least 45% marks with a B.Ed.
- Degree in the subject concerned with MSc.Ed. Degree.
Applicaion fee For KTET 2024
- General/ OBC: Rs. 500
- SC/ ST Candidates: Rs. 250
How to Apply for Kerala TET Application Form 2024?
- Firstly, candidates visit the official website @ktet.kerala.gov.in
- On the homepage start the registration by entering the basic details.
- Re-login with user name & password.
- Start to fill out the KTET Application Form.
- Upload the Scanned copy of the document as per the requirement.
- Pay the Application fee.
- Finally, take a printout of the complete Application form for further reference.
