India Post had published a notification to fill 40889 vacancies of GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak). Many eligible candidates had applied online for this recruitment till 16 February 2023. According to the official notification, no written exam will be scheduled for India Post GDS Recruitment and the selection of candidates will be done on the basis of direct merit. The Indian Postal Circle will prepare the All India GDS Merit List on the basis of the 10th-class marks.
